*coughs* sigh... im sick. just seen the doctor. well, nvm. shall talk about co camp!
On the first day of camp (comm camp, or rather comm day, named by yonghui cos she said it's only one day), we went to the MINT museum. It's an exhibition on toys. There're five storeys altogether, so you can imagine the number of toys there are. And the shocking fact is all the toys are owned by ONE man. Oh! Another shocking fact. DONT BLINK WHEN YOU READ THE NEXT SENTENCE! Those toys on exhibition are only 10% of his collection! (cant rmb whether it's 10% or 1%, but i think 10% makes more sense. lol.) Therefore, they rotate the exhibits every six months. Well. overall, I did enjoy myself there. Next, we actually intended to go to Laser Quest. Unfortunately, it was fully booked, so we had to go back to school earlier. In other words, push forward the original schedule. Back in school, we had our comm reflection session. Then we bathed and watched 2 movies. The first movie was a jap movie, 'Be With You', and the other was a french movie, called smth smth Amelie. Lol. The name is so long that I didnt bother to rmb. Well, I like the jap movie. Though it was unrealistic, it was a touching one. My favourite scene is the one whereby the girl dipped her hand into the guy's pocket to get some warmth and the guy held her hand in the pocket. He was also trying to confess his love for the girl lah. It was a very sweet scene. I wish I can have a picture of the two hands in the pocket. So sweet! As for the story, I shant further elaborate. Go and watch, cos it's highly recommended. Hehe. Next was the french movie. Pardon me for not knowing anything about the movie. Cos i was very sick that night. Or rather super sick during that movie. So I spent most of the time lying down or resting cos I coughed till I had sore eyes. Haha! Then Huiyi was very funny. Whenever she saw me lying down, she would ask if I was asleep. Lol. I admit that i closed my eyes, but i told her I didnt sleep lah. After the movies, all of us were so tired that we automatically turned in (without eating supper!).
The next morning was the first day of co camp. Firstly, we had dazu. Surprisingly Mrs Ee didnt prac molihua at all. Haha. And that's a good thing for me cos I didnt have to play my solo. hurhur. After lunch, we had xiaozu. When I was opening the classroom doors, I realised that c402 key wasnt with the bunch of keys. I went back to check my bag, my plastic bags, but to no avail! I was petrified! So I went to tell Yiling that I lost the c402 key. I could tell that she was very worried, but no choice, we had to carry on with xiaozu. During xiaozu, I practised qinqiang with Szemin cos we would be dueting it for huibao. Initially I only wanted to anyhow play it, as long as both of us played together, cos i was too sick and tired to bother about it. But to think again, I find that huibao would be meaningless if we dont put in effort to play. So I started to practise those minor details very seriously, e.g. yin zhun of the high notes. Due to time constrain, we merely went through the whole song together for about 2 to 3 times, practised the san3 ban3 and kuai4 ban3 and we headed for huibao. Though Yiling, Maureen and I randomly arranged the order of performances, I realised that the last few were all duets. haha! What a coincidence. Our qinqiang wasnt the best that we put up. It may be considered as one of the worst cos our kuai4 ban3 wasnt very together and our san3 ban3 wasnt very zhun3. Haha! Szemin was funny. I tried to eye-contact her to hint her, but she looked back at me with a 'why-you-suddenly-glare-at-me' look. Overall, it was OKAY lah. Well, my favourite item was the yangqin duet, tian1 shan1 shi1 hua4, by Peiyan and Wendy (sounds like Peiyan and Randy haha!), cos the song itself is nice and it was being played by pro ppl! haha! Surprising, when Mrs Ee gave comments about our qinqiang, she said our duet was the best she've ever seen, cos of our mo4 qi4. Szemin and I were like... ?!?!?!? Haha! Yup. Like what I've said, it was one of our worst. Well, maybe it’s becos we have been dueting together since primary school? Nvm. Since we’ve received a good comment, we should continue to buck up. Haha. After bathe and dinner, we had night walk! Before releasing the co for night walk, we played ‘The Wishing Stairs’. Unfortunately, due to the poor sound system, the effect and impact weren’t there. At least many of them were frightened by some scary parts of it. Then it was the real night walk. At the first station (the Layting and Yuqin’s station), many didn’t expect Yuqin’s presence and was scared off by her. At the next station (the Yonghui and YI’s station), many complained about the disgusting oats mixture! Hahahaha! Next was Jiaying’s station. Liying said someone grabbed her leg but she didn’t know who it was. Sounds rather creepy… Oh! The next station is the funniest! Huiyi’s station was supposed to drop a doll from the carpark ceiling. Who knows for their first attempt, the raffia string came off the doll and not only that the doll didn’t drop down, it was stuck at the ceiling! HAHA! It was so funny! Ok! Next! I think this is the scariest station. The Hsiu Fan station! They made a ‘big doll’. It was dressed like the ghost in ‘The Maid’. Whenever people walk past it, they would scare them with the doll. Haha! I didn’t really experience it, but I heard screams from that station, so I guess it should be very scary. Overall, I think this night walk was quite successful. Yay! We had co talk after night walk. Yiling asked about what we hope for syf and how we would work towards the goal. Sadly, the co wasn’t very responsive. Even if they were not very responsive, I still hope they do have ideas of how they’re going to work towards the goal. After that was free time before lights out! I actually intended to have supper, but Siying said we could have it later, so we played first. Since it was meant to be sectional bonding, we (the sec 2 xyz ppl) asked the sec 1s to join in our game. (Not that we left the sec 3s out, but the sec 3s were outside m401 with the sec 4 seniors) We played …. Oh no! I can’t remember the name. But it’s a tougher version of Murderer. Instead of owning one card, each person owns three cards. To catch the murderer, you have to surrender one of your cards and guess by opening one of the cards the suspect has. If you guess it correctly, the person has to give up being a murderer and you get your card back. If you guess it wrongly, you have to give your card aka your life to the suspect. As the usual slow me, I always don’t know who the murderer was. But Liying was good at spotting murderers. As for me, I was good at flipping the right ‘murderer card’ of the murderer. Haha! Apparently, Liying hinted me who the murderers were and I would expose the murderers. Though I didn’t get it right all the time, at least I guessed most of them right. See! My theory is correct! My sixth sense is very accurate! Haha! Sadly, Miss Lee made us sleep early. Once again, we didn’t get to eat supper.
The next morning, as we were given one hour of breakfast, all of us (the sec 2 xyz ppl) had cup noodles as breakfast. As we were eating, Siying commented that I made weird noises when I was sleeping the previous night. I was shocked! Cos I rarely make noise when I sleep. Even Hanqing who slept beside beside beside me heard it! Hmmm… While eating, Liying said her leg was itchy ever since she was grabbed by that ‘somebody’ during night walk. This made it even creepier. If it weren’t Peiyan who grabbed her, that means… After breakfast, we went up to m401 to play dai di. After about two to three games, I went to play Animal Mania with the yangqin daji people to train myself (and to show off a bit. Haha! Cos I had improved a lot compared to the previous time I played with Shawn) Indeed, I had improved a lot! But there’s once, I still got the actions mixed up. :X Then we played blackjack. As you know I’m slow, I only ‘hit’ the card when I saw people hitting. Only then, I realized that Cassandra is my tong2 lei4! Haha! Maybe she wasn’t very sure about how the game goes, so she was very hesitant in ‘hitting’. Apparently, she’s always the last. So I told her my trick, which was to follow people to hit whenever they did so. Lol. After that we had telematch. I felt that this year’s games were creatively planned. Oh! And from the telematch, I’ve learnt about what Mrs Ee’s favourite question is – Is the aircon on? Lol! After prize giving, the co was released and the comm took a picture together. Without the comm’s effort, the camp wouldn’t be so fun and successful. Thank you and well done comm! Finally, it’s time to face the music. Yiling and I went to the office to report c402 key lost. Before informing the staff, Yiling flipped through the book and realized that Ms Lee didn’t even draw c402’s key at all! Then we looked at the previous records and discovered that the key was lost by someone else already. PHEW! I wasn’t the one who lost the key! We were super relieved to know about it. Well, this is a lesson that I should learn. Cos Ms Lee told me to check if all the keys were there when she just handed me those bunch of keys. But I simply joined the comm for comm reflection without checking, that’s why I didn’t know that she didn’t even draw the key. Besides, whenever someone borrowed the bunch of keys from me, I didn’t check if all the keys are still present. See how careless I was. Now that I’ve learnt my lesson, I will take extra care of those keys and do my job to my utmost best since my only task is to be in charge of the keys.
Ahhh… Im gonna leave for China tmr! But I don’t seem to have the excitement. Sigh. See ya soon!
